This Privacy Policy describes our commitment to customer privacy. In general, you can browse through our Website without giving any personally identifiable information about yourself. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use your personal information in cases where we need it to provide services that you request or when you choose to provide us with said information.


Your use of the LORIC Service, the Palerra Website, and any other Palerra services offered by Palerra, Inc. is conditioned upon acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy by you, the user of the Website and / or Palerra Service (“you” or “User”). This Privacy Policy lists our current policies, but, as noted below, this Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time at our discretion. Those who do not agree to be subject to this Privacy Policy may not, under any circumstances, use the Palerra Service or Website.


This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Palerra does not own or control, or to individuals whom Palerra does not employ or manage, including any of the third parties to which Palerra may disclose user information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.



1. Collection of Personally Identifiable Information

Portions of this Website contain functions for collecting your personal information including your name and email address as well as your access history on this Website. In order to successfully request a trial or use the LORIC service, certain personally identifiable information will be required by each end user to be submitted. Palerra uses the information that we collect to set up, administer and provide the LORIC Service for organizations. We may also use the information to contact you to further discuss your interest in our company and the LORIC Service, to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions and events, and to respond to your requests for information. We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us. We do not sell, trade, or rent the Personally Identifiable Information that we collect with third parties, unless you ask or authorize us to do so.

With your prior express permission, Palerra employees may log in to your account solely to resolve a problem or support issue specifically with your consent and / or supervision. In this case, the Palerra personnel investigating the problem would have the same access and abilities within the LORIC service that you have when you are logged in. Palerra may also view your account information and usage to investigate a suspected violation of the Terms of Service.

Palerra uses and logs information gathered from your web browser or device, such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing history, to help analyze and diagnose technical problems, and to administer our Website in order to constantly improve the quality of the Website and other Palerra provided services.

Palerra collects and stores meta-data to provide Palerra services to you. Palerra also aggregates anonymized user data, including user meta-data, usage and volume statistical information, and other statistics (but not contact information) from our visitors and Users and may provide such anonymous aggregated information to third parties.

In addition to the above, Palerra may in any event use and disclose information disclosed to it or collected by it through the Website to the extent required by any law, subpoena, legal process, court, judicial, regulatory or governmental authority, or if in Palerra’s reasonable discretion use or disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or any threat to the safety of any individual, to protect Palerra’s legal rights or to protect the rights of third parties. These third party analytics providers’ gathering practices, including their policies regarding the use of cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies, are governed entirely by their own privacy policies, not this one.



6. Security

Our Website has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. However, you should be aware that it is impossible to guarantee absolute security with respect to information sent through the Internet. When you enter sensitive information, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

The LORIC Service uses secured and encrypted protocols (HTTPS) for all communications. The LORIC service is a SaaS service that is deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, which are SOC2 Type II and SafeHarbour certified at a minimum. The same security, privacy and data protection policies that are provided by AWS are leveraged by the LORIC service. All customer-provided credentials when using the LORIC service is encrypted using AES 256 bit encryption keys. All data (including credentials, tokens etc) that are deemed sensitive is encrypted at rest and encryption keys are stored in a PKCS#12 compatible HSM device

Palerra takes security and privacy very seriously. All company employees are contractually obligated to safeguard Palerra and User data under confidentiality and privacy agreements. Access to Palerra production systems is restricted to limited authorized Palerra team members only.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Please contact us if you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.



7. Blogs and other Forums on

If you use a Palerra blog, chat room, or other type of posting page, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other Users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums, or the use of such information by any third party. Palerra may, alone or in collaboration with other Safe Harbor-certified organizations, store and process personal information in the United States. We will protect the privacy and security of Personally Identifiable Information according to our Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed or stored.
